FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

How do I order?

You can browse my website and see all the chocolates here. Select what you want to purchase and check out through your cart on the right. You can pay by all major debit and credit cards or use PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

How much does delivery cost?

From June 2021 all parcels are sent using Royal Mail Tracked services. Standard delivery (Royal Mail 48) is £2.90 and First Class shipping (Royal Mail 24) is £4.50. Orders over £40 ship free by Royal Mail 48.

Please note that this does not mean that your order will arrive within 24 or 48 hours of ordering. All chocolates are made to order and processing times varies throughout the year.

How long does the order take?

I make all chocolates to order and I aim to ship your chocolates within 5 working days to make sure that you can tuck in as soon as possible. If you're in a hurry, choose Royal Mail 24 at checkout and I will prioritise your order. All shipping is done from Cheshire, UK.

Can I collect my order?

You can choose local pick-up at checkout. If you choose this option, I will contact you when your order is ready to arrange a suitable collection time. But I offer free UK delivery on orders over £40, so feel free to shop away!

How long do the chocolates stay fresh?

The chocolate itself stays fresh for 6-12 months if stored in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. Depending on toppings and fillings, I recommend consuming the chocolates within 3 weeks to get the most enjoyment out of them. Make sure you store the chocolates in a dark, cool and dry place and never in direct sunlight. If you want them to keep longer you can put them in the fridge in an airtight container.

How and where are the chocolates made?

Everything is produced in my very own kitchen, which has been certified with a 5-star food hygiene rating. I want you to get the best possible product, so I use only the best ingredients I can come across, and use Fairtrade and organic products wherever I can.

The chocolates arrived broken, what do I do?

Since chocolates are perishable items I can only accept returns and issue refunds for orders that arrive broken. If this is the case, I need photographic evidence of the damage to the outer postal box and of the damage to the actual product. This must be sent to me within 24 hours of receiving the order.

To be eligible for a refund, you need to return the item to me in its original packaging. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

What chocolate do you use?

It's important for me that my chocolates both taste great and are sourced sustainably. Therefore I only use quality Belgian chocolate from Cacao Barry and Callebaut for all my chocolates.

Can I personalise my chocolates?

Yes, you can! If you have any special requirements or want to shop wholesale, send an email at tillywonkas@gmail.com and I will chat with you directly about your order.

Do you cater for vegans?

Yes! I offer a range of vegan products. You can find the range of vegan products HERE. If you have any questions, just pop me a message to tillywonkas@gmail.com and we can discuss your requirements.
